Both Plex and Emby use a client/server setup. You need to install the server app on the computer or NAS drive where you keep your local media and the client app
Twonky successfully reads the keywords from metadata to ps3. however when using a client such as wmp 11 on windows vista the behavior is more strange. keywords from twonky are the folders instead of actual keywords/tags, while native DLNA was totally incomplete and WMP11 could only read 200 photos out of my 6500 photo library the native DLNA is definitely immature and depends on media library * Plex mobile clients are far superior to QNAP's own efforts like QMobile and Plex cover all 3 major platforms, iOS, Android, Windows tablet/phone plus can stream media over the internet remotely. Plex would be a more modern solution, they are paying for Twonky so may as well pay Plex for something better & free themselves from having to develop QMobile across multiple platforms. Der Twonky wurde im App-Center übrigens noch angezeigt, Version 8.0.1.1. oder so. Ließ sich aber nicht mehr öffnen, Website nicht verfügbar. Habe auch mal in die .ini geguckt: Port stimmte unverändert, Port 9000 (Standard). Nix. Also habe ich (aufgrund irgendeines geilen Google-Tipps) den Twonky runtergeschmissen (sucks; änderte aber ja eh nix, lief ja nicht mehr) und mir den neuen 8.5.1
